Theft. A 2004 Ford work van was stolen from the parking lot of Wild Bill's Sports Saloon, 10950 Club West Pkwy. NE. The keys had been left in the vehicle. It was recovered the next day.
AUG. 17
Harassment. A woman from the 11300 block of Fergus Street NE. reported to police that her ex-boyfriend had called her 175 times and sent more than 130 text messages within the past two days.

Burglary. Jewelry and cash were stolen from a home on the 8000 block of 124th Lane.

AUG. 25
Theft. The owner of Down Under Liquor Store, 2 South Pine Drive, reported that someone had stolen new scratch-off lottery tickets that had not yet been activated. He called police back a half-hour later to say he had found the lottery tickets in a back room.

AUG. 18
Drunken driving. A 39-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving in the Aldi parking lot, 8800 Springbrook Drive NW. Her 12-year-old son was in the vehicle with her. Someone phoned police after observing her drink a beer while inside the vehicle. Her portable breath test result showed a 0.328 blood-alcohol content, police said. She was transported to jail and the boy was picked up by his father.
AUG. 21
Theft. Someone stole a 1994 Saturn from the driveway of a home on the 11800 block of Crocus Street NW. The keys had been left in the unlocked vehicle.
Theft. A 31-year-old man reported that someone stole his Smith and Wesson revolver from his home on the 9800 block of Palm Street NW. He said he had invited two men to his home after they had been at a bar together. One of the men was a close friend and he had just met the other man and did not know him. He had shown the gun to both men that night. He noticed the gun was missing after he awoke the next morning.

Theft. Someone unplugged some landscape lights and stole two bulbs at a home on the 10000 block of Dogwood Street NW.
FRIDLEY
AUG. 25
Assist. Police found a 21-year-old man in the roadway at East River Road and 51st Way NE. The man told officers he had gotten lost while trying to walk home. Officers transported him home.
Missing child. A 5-year-old girl was reported missing from the 6400 block of Starlite Circle NE. She was located 20 minutes later.
Child found. A lost 5-year-old boy was found on the 5900 block of Anna Avenue. An officer located the mother at a nearby apartment complex. She said the boy had been playing with his older sister at a school nearby and they had become separated.

Theft. A boat, motor and trailer were stolen from the driveway of a home on the 7700 block of Silver Lake Road NW.
AUG. 30
Property damage. A window on a home was broken on the 2200 block of Dickens Lane and someone egged the inside of the home.
LEXINGTON
AUG. 26
Property. A man reported that his roommate had damaged sunflower plants in the front of his home on the 9300 block of Syndicate Avenue. The man told police he would like an apology.
MINNEAPOLIS
AUG. 29
Robbery. Two men, ages 21 and 29, were arrested for robbery at Humboldt and Lowry Avenues N. The two are accused of robbing a taxi driver at gunpoint.
