One of the biggest stars of the '00s, Norah Jones will start the next decade by downsizing. She will perform March 17 at O'Shaughnessy at St. Catherine University in St. Paul. Remember when the queen of coffeehouse pop-jazz performed at Xcel Energy Center in 2004? "Holy hockey arena!" she declared. In November, she released her fourth album, "The Fall," with a new vibe (atmospheric electronics) and a new hairdo (short and slightly curly). The album features all new backup musicians -- including guitarists Marc Ribot and Smokey Hormel and drummer Joey Waronker -- but no word yet on the players who will accompany Jones on her 36-city tour. She last performed in the Twin Cities in 2007 at the Orpheum Theatre. Tickets will go on sale Dec. 11.
