Weather has delayed the closing of the ramp from Little Canada Road to southbound I-35E, but look for that to happen this week.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will get to work on building a noise and retaining wall on the west side of I-35E there in conjunction with the MnPass lane being added this summer.

In addition, the auxiliary lane from I-694 to Hwy. 36 will be closed, but the freeway will still have three southbound lanes open. Look for this to be in place until September.

Drivers headed for southbound I-35E can detour westbound on Little Canada Road, westbound on County Road C, southbound on Rice Street and eastbound on Hwy 36.
