With pivotal conference championship games looming, there were no changes at the top of this week's College Football Playoff rankings.

Clemson (12-0) remained in the No. 1 spot for the fifth consecutive week as the Tigers prepare to take on No. 10 North Carolina (11-1) in the ACC Championship Game on Saturday.

Alabama (11-1), which remained in the second spot for the third straight week, will take on No. 18 Florida (10-2) in the SEC Championship Game.

Oklahoma (11-1) was No. 3 after claiming the Big 12 title with a win over Oklahoma State.

Iowa (12-0) and Michigan State (11-1), who meet in the Big Ten Championship on Saturday, were fourth and fifth in this week's rankings.

Hoping for a stumble among the top four are No. 6 Ohio State (11-1) and No. 7 Stanford (10-2), which plays No. 20 Southern Cal in the Pac-12 Championship Game.
