Whiskey on Ice

Last call for tickets to Sunday's Whiskey on Ice event. Whiskey nerds will descend upon the Depot skating rink in downtown Minneapolis for a sip-athon featuring more than 90 producers. If three hours of whiskey sampling isn't enough, additional tasting seminars run earlier in the day for $25 a pop. Puff Ashton Cigars while enjoying a fine single-malt, but for a whiskey-neat reprieve, grab a Surly beer or cocktail from the Northstar Bartenders Guild. Walk-up tickets will not be available. (5-8 p.m. Sun. $75 [$20 designated driver]. 225 3rd Av. S., Mpls. www.whiskeyonicemn.com.)

Brewery bus tour

Brews & Buses hauls ticket holders to eight St. Paul breweries by — you guessed it — bus on Saturday. Organized by taproom crawl kings GetKnit, the sold-out ride starts at Union Depot and proceeds to Summit, Bang, Flat Earth and others, with buses circulating through each brewery every 10 to 20 minutes. Tickets cover two beers, transportation, access to specialty firkins and more. (11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sat. Sold out. 214 E. 4th St., St. Paul. www.getknitevents.com.)
