OM to open After several delays, the Twin Cities area's most anticipated Indian restaurant, OM, will open today. Located in the old Nate's Clothing on the 1st Avenue strip, the restaurant and bar occupy 9,000 square feet on two levels. Cookbook author Raghavan Iyer is behind the menu, while Randy Norman (formerly of Bellanotte and r.Norman's) will be out front.

Magic on the North Side A singing mystic from Australia is as good a reason as any to check out the recently renovated Historic Capri Theater in north Minneapolis. Wendy Rule will headline the first show in the 12-part "Great Streets Concert Series." According to the Capri, the Melbourne singer has been "renowned for years amongst the world's alternative spiritual communities." Sounds like fun. Opening is Kari Tauring, a Nordic roots musician and staff carrier (look it up).

7 p.m. Thu. 2027 W. Broadway, Mpls. $15. 612-767-2141. nacarts.org.

Tiësto moves to Epic With the hubbub over Myth's closing still playing out, shows booked at the Maplewood megaclub are finding new homes. The Oct. 30 date for trance superstar Tiësto was expected to be one of the biggest DJ shows of the year. It'll still happen, but now at Epic in downtown Minneapolis. Myth tickets will be accepted there.
