Nightlife notebook: Infinity and beyond

Infinity and beyond It's been almost a year since the swanky Infinity Lounge in the Graves Hotel shut down. If you've been wondering what would replace it, your answer opened quietly this week: the Bradstreet Craftshouse Restaurant. The small-plates lounge will most likely be the Twin Cities' next great cocktail destination. Ben Graves has ensured that much by partnering with Alchemy Consulting, a New York cocktail duo made up of Jason Cott and Toby Maloney (the latter is often mentioned among the best bartenders in the country). While the lounge calls itself high-end, the prices aren't outrageous. Most drinks and small plates are under $10. Check back soon for a full report. (Open 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tue.-Sat., 601 1st Av. N., Mpls. 612-677-1100. graves601hotel.com.)

RollerGirls: violent fun The Minnesota RollerGirls are back for another bone-crunching bout this month. Saturday's showdown at Roy Wilkins Auditorium features the Dagger Dolls vs. Garda Belts and the Atomic Bombshells vs. Rockits. It's a busy weekend for the women. On Sunday, they're inviting their fans to Station 4 in St. Paul for a dodgeball tournament (for charity). You've seen them on skates, now imagine them throwing balls at your face. Teams sign up at noon and play at 1 p.m. (7:30 p.m Sat. 175 Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul. $10-$14. 651-989-5151. mnrollergirls.com.)

Comedy on the cheap The current trend of exorbitantly high ticket prices for nationally touring comedians ($69 for Larry the Cable Guy last summer) isn't so funny. Well, here's a standup theater show for a mere $16.50. While he doesn't have the same name recognition as that cable guy, Arj Barker is funny. The young comic is the cocreator of the off-Broadway show "The Marijuana-Logues" and a hilarious animated web series called "Arj and Poopy" (Poopy being his cat). He brings his standup to the Pantages Saturday. Check out clips of Barker at myspace.com/arjbarker (7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Sat. 710 Hennepin Av., Mpls. $16.50. 612-673-0404. hennepintheatredistrict.org.)

The "winners" have all been Turkeys, no matter the honor's name.

In this photo taken Monday, March 6, 2017, in San Francisco, released confidential files by The University of California of a sexual misconduct case, like this one against UC Santa Cruz Latin Studies professor Hector Perla is shown. Perla was accused of raping a student during a wine-tasting outing in June 2015. Some of the files are so heavily redacted that on many pages no words are visible. Perla is one of 113 UC employees found to have violated the system's sexual misconduct policies in rece
