Hoyer leads Texans on two scoring drives

•HOUSTON 27, NEW ORLEANS 13: Brian Hoyer led scoring drives on two of his first three series since being named Houston's starting quarterback, and the Texans beat the host Saints. All three Texans quarterbacks led scoring drives. Ryan Mallett, upset this past week upon learning he'd be the backup, threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Jaelen Strong. Drew Brees drove the Saints 75 yards for a field goal on his lone series.

•ARIZONA 30, OAKLAND 23: Marion Grice scored on an 11-yard run with 31 seconds left and the Cardinals beat the host Raiders. The Raiders got five first-half field goals from Sebastian Janikowski but didn't reach the end zone until the fourth quarter. Cardinals QB Carson Palmer threw two interceptions and was sacked three times.
