Neal Justin's TV picks for Aug. 27: 'The Bachelor,' 'Unsealed: Alien Files,' 'Conan'
Imagine if Renée Zellweger, Brooke Shields and Mariah Carey were all chasing "The Bachelor." No, we're not talking about a star-studded edition of the popular ABC reality series. This is the 1999 feature film with Chris O'Donnell in the title role. 8:55 p.m. MoviePlex
They came from outer space
Space creatures and Adolf Hitler, two of cable TV's favorite subjects, meet in a new episode of "Unsealed: Alien Files" which suggests that the Nazis may have had plans beyond conquering planet Earth. 9 p.m. Destination America
Trial run
With "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" debuting next month, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" picking up steam and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" solidifying its status as the friendliest place on Earth, it would be easy for "Conan" to get lost in the late-night shuffle. But don't abandon Conan O'Brien just yet. When it comes to reacting to the unexpected, he remains the quickest trigger, exhibiting unabashed glee whenever the show goes off script. That makes this episode, in which the host will introduce clips from rehearsals that went awry, must-see TV — even if it means taking a break from the two Jimmys. 10 p.m. TBS
