This week's best bets
No. 10 Baylor at No. 11 TCU, Friday: Baylor still has national title aspirations, and to keep them, the Bears need to beat the banged-up Horned Frogs.
No. 19 Navy at No. 13 Houston, Friday: The winner moves on to the American Athletic Conference title game, with the winner of that game in line for the Fiesta or Peach.
No. 7 Oklahoma at No. 4 Oklahoma State, Saturday: Bedlam, indeed. The Sooners might be the Big 12's only hope at making the College Football Playoff but might be without their starting quarterback.
No. 3 Alabama at Auburn, Saturday: Sure, the Crimson Tide has won three of the past four Iron Bowls, but we all remember that "Kick Six'' game two years ago and what fantastic finishes can come when these teams meet.
No. 5 Notre Dame at No. 15 Stanford, Saturday: The Fighting Irish will need to play much better against the Cardinal to bolster their playoff argument, especially when compared with the Big 12 and Big Ten champions.
