Ginsburg is home from the hospital

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg left Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where she’d been admitted for treatment of a possible infection. The court’s spokeswoman, Kathy Arberg, said in an e-mailed statement that Ginsburg “is home and doing well” but provided no other details about the justice’s condition. Ginsburg went to the hospital Tuesday after experiencing fevers and chills.

Ivanka Trump defends Goya post

Ivanka Trump defended tweeting a photo of herself holding up a can of Goya beans to buck up a Hispanic-owned business that she says has been unfairly treated, arguing that she has “every right” to publicly express her support. Government watchdogs countered that President Donald Trump’s daughter and senior adviser doesn’t have the right to violate ethics rules that bar government officials from using their public office to endorse specific products or groups. The White House would be responsible for disciplining Ivanka Trump for any ethics violation.

Trump says Navarro wrong to write op-ed

President Donald Trump chided trade adviser Peter Navarro for having written an op-ed for USA Today in which he heavily criticized Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious-disease official, over his handling of the coronavirus crisis. “He made a statement representing himself. He shouldn’t be doing that,” Trump said. Navarro laid out several disagreements with Fauci in the op-ed, titled “Anthony Fauci has been wrong about everything I have interacted with him on.”
