Next weekend: Outdoor music finally takes over the concert calendar next weekend in a big way, including the Soundset hip-hop fest next Sunday at Canterbury Park. But the largest event might be either of these two radio concerts in the St. Paul Saints' ballpark, a fun venue for rock events. The 93X Fest (1 p.m. Sat.) is back with one of its headbangingest lineups ever, headed by Boston giants Godsmack with classic-metalists Queensrÿche, ex-Ozzy guitarist Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society, Kansas City rockers Puddle of Mudd and newer staples Hollywood Undead, All That Remains, Escape the Fate and New Medicine. KQRS's RockStock (2 p.m. next Sun.) pales in comparison but is coolly an all-Midwest affair, featuring the Dennis DeYoung-less Styx and the still-mighty Cheap Trick, along with Twin Cities transplant Joey Molland's remade Badfinger and local blues-rock vets the Lamont Cranston Band.

  • Both shows at Midway Stadium, 1771 Energy Park Dr., St. Paul
    • $40 per day or $200 VIP at Ticketmaster.com
