The sale will be held at the Martha O'Hara Interiors Showroom, 6900 Oxford St., St. Louis Park. After the move, a new combined design studio/retail store, staffed by designers, will reopen July 6 at 9950 Wayzata Blvd., St. Louis Park.

SWEDE STYLE

"Lars Bolander's Scandinavian Design" (Vendome Press, $40) is as full of color and life as it is of cool-palette spaces. Bolander, one of Sweden's best-known designers, shares ideas on putting Swedish elements to work in any decor. The cozy mix of photos contrasting bold, warm rooms with ones more fancy and spare provides good pacing for readers, who get a much broader appreciation of the styles united under the Scandi umbrella. There's a fair bit of history woven throughout, but the book's strength is in its visuals of exteriors, entrances, kitchens and living, dining, bath and bedrooms, as well as its informative "Design Elements" sidebars.
