Monday-Wednesday: The Impact Film Festival, held this week in Denver and next week in St. Paul, is a showcase for socially themed movies keyed to the Democratic and Republican conventions. The St. Paul version includes "Battle in Seattle," which chronicles the events surrounding the 1999 World Trade Organization meetings (11 a.m. Mon.); "I.O.U.S.A." (pictured), a look at the national debt (11 a.m. Tue.); "The Blacklist," portraits of influential blacks (1:30 p.m. Mon.); "Flow," a documentary about the world's water supply (1:30 p.m. Tue.); "Accidental Advocate," about a man and his daughter trying to find those at the heart of a stem-cell research quagmire (4 p.m. Tue.); "Trouble the Water," a look at poverty through the eyes of a couple trapped in New Orleans by Hurricane Katrina (11 a.m. Wed.), and "Boogie Man," a documentary about legendary GOP strategist Lee Atwater (2 p.m. Wed.). 'CRAWFORD'
In the same politically minded spirit is this documentary about how the 705 residents of Crawford, Texas, were affected when George W. Bush moved to town.
