Movies: Don't look for 'Prom Night' -- we couldn't look, either

Oh, the horror that is prom night: the pimples, the dashed expectations, the obsessed stalker/killer.

Donna (Brittany Snow) thought the horrors of her past were gone, and looked forward to a magical evening. But when the magic turns to murder she knows there is only one man who could be responsible.

From what we can tell (the movie was not screened for critics), "Prom Night" (rated PG-13 for violence and terror, some sexual material, underage drinking and language) is not a remake of the 1980 Jamie Lee Curtis movie, which you might want to rent instead.
