The end of the Mound-Westonka girls' basketball team's 11-game losing streak -- a 75-74 victory over Glencoe-Silver Lake on Saturday -- coincided with the emergence of junior guard Victoria Anderson.

The White Hawks trailed 72-69 in the final minute when Anderson was fouled while attempting a three-pointer.

She made all three free throws to tie the game, but Glencoe-Silver Lake regained the lead 74-72 on a basket by forward Clarissa Ober.

Enter Anderson one more time. Again finding herself with the ball in her hands and her team trailing, she nailed a game-winning three-pointer as time ran out for the victory.

Anderson finished with a season-high 25 points, her second consecutive game scoring at least 20 points.
