After more than 8 inches fell over a few locales in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and in parts of northern Wisconsin through late Monday, more snow and a wintry mix will fall around the Great Lakes region today and tonight. An additional one to three inches will fall over northern Wisconsin and northern Michigan, while some parts of the Upper Peninsula will have up to 6 more inches of snow.

Roads will become slick and hazardous, while reduced visibility will add to the dangers of driving.

More snow showers will be left over across the area on Wednesday before milder, drier weather makes a return by Thursday. High pressure building across the region will bring the nice late-week weather.
