As noted by Yahoo Sports, Saturday's line drive from Joe Mauer that sent Carlos Carrasco to the disabled list marked the third time in four years the Cleveland righthander was injured by a comebacker from an AL Central opponent. In 2015, he was hit in the face by a Melky Cabrera line drive, and in 2016 he missed the postseason after breaking his right hand on a line drive off the bat of Ian Kinsler.
