One area in which the Twins have been remarkably consistent this season — and not in a good way — is in drawing walks. Or, rather, not drawing them.

The Twins have been right around 2.5 walks per game for almost the entire season, and that has them currently in 13th place in the American League. A season ago, they were up around 3.4 — good for second in the American League.

As I've noted before, the lack of walks this season cannot be overlooked as a culprit for why the offense has failed to produce as many runs as it did a year ago.

NO, JUST NO Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles called himself the "LeBron [James] of football" because of his versatility and the attention defenses must pay to him.
