Canucks end Panthers' streak
VANCOUVER – Daniel Sedin's second goal of the game — with Jaromir Jagr in the penalty box — gave the Canucks a 3-2 overtime victory that ended the Florida Panthers' 12-game winning streak Monday.
Sedin ended it at 2:21 of overtime, and tied Markus Naslund's franchise record with his 346th goal.
Jussi Jokinen and Jonathan Huberdeau had staked Florida to a 2-0 lead.
•CLOSE CALLS: Brent Burns scored the go-ahead goal at 5:12 of the third period and assisted on Joel Ward's insurance goal five minutes later in the Sharks' 5-4 win at Calgary … Jesper Fast scored on a deflection with 1 minute, 42 seconds to play, and the host Rangers rallied to beat the Bruins 2-1.
•KINGS IN CHARGE: Host Los Angeles ended the Red Wings' four-game winning streak, getting a goal and three assists from Anze Kopitar in a 4-2 victory.
