The Arizona Diamondbacks got to play Home Run Derby in Philly.

The Diamondbacks hit three consecutive home runs to open the game and finished with a team-record eight in a 13-8 win over the Philadelphia Phillies in a homer-happy game on Monday night.

Scott Kingery hit two of Philadelphia's five homers for the combined MLB record of 13 in one game.

On most nights, five would be enough to win. But not this one in steamy Philly, where the Diamondbacks turned their at-bats into extended batting practice. Jarrod Dyson, Ketel Marte and David Peralta hit the dinger, tater and long ball all in a row off Jerad Eickhoff in the first inning to get the record romp rolling.

"With the way we've been swinging the bats, you never know," Dyson said.

Eduardo Escobar became the first Diamondbacks player to homer from both sides of the plate in consecutive innings. Ildemaro Vargas also homered twice, Alex Avila went deep and Arizona made the Citizens Bank Park outfield seats the place to be.

"These are not the type of baseball games that we like to be in," Phillies manager Gabe Kapler said.

Atlanta 13, Pittsburgh 7: Ronald Acuna Jr. hit a grand slam, Ozzie Albies added two homers and the host Braves won after Pirates starter Joe Musgrove was ejected in a first-inning fracas with Josh Donaldson.

Colorado 6, Chicago 5: Ryan McMahon had a go-ahead RBI single in the eighth inning, and the host Rockies rallied to beat the Cubs.

St. Louis 4, Miami 1: Michael Wacha pitched six scoreless innings in his return to the rotation as the visiting Cardinals broke a three-game losing streak.

American League

Texas 4, Boston 3 (11): Danny Santana doubled to lead off the 11th inning for his fourth hit of the game and scored on Elvis Andrus' single to give the Rangers a victory over the host Red Sox, on a night the city of Boston's concerns were focused on ex-slugger David Ortiz.

Tampa Bay 6, Oakland 2: Charlie Morton remained unbeaten with the host Rays, pitching seven shutout innings en route to a victory over the Athletics.

Interleague

Washington 12, Chicago White Sox 1: Trea Turner homered for a second game in a row to back Anibal Sanchez for the visiting Nationals.

Perla was accused of raping a student during a wine-tasting outing in June 2015. Some of the files are so heavily redacted that on many pages no words are visible. Perla is one of 113 UC employees found to have violated the system's sexual misconduct policies in rece
