GAMEDAY HEROES

CHRIS THOMPSON, RB, Redskins Didn't do much on the ground with 33 yards on 16 carries, but he also hauled in four passes for 105 yards, including a 49-yarder.

KENDALL WRIGHT, WR, Bears He set up the winning field goal in overtime with his leaping 18-yard catch of Mitch Trubisky's pass over the middle on third-and-11.

KYLE VAN NOY, LB, Patriots He tied for the team lead in tackles against the Jets with seven, including a pair of sacks — matching his total from 2014 to '16 combined.

GAMEDAY GOATS

GIORGIO TAVECCHIO, K, Raiders His missed extra point in the fourth quarter on Cordarrelle Patterson's TD came back to bite the Raiders when they lost by a point.

GRADY JARRETT, DT, Falcons His killer roughing-the-passer penalty wiped out Deion Jones' second interception; the Dolphins scored a touchdown on the very next play.

PHILLIP GAINES, CB, Chiefs His day could be summarized when a pass went through Gaines' hands, off his facemask and to Antonio Brown, who took off for a touchdown.

FANTASY RUSH

GOING UP That Adrian Peterson trade wasn't just good for him. Mark Ingram had 150 yards and two TDs, and Alvin Kamara added 87 yards from the less-crowded Saints backfield.

GOING DOWN He threw for 312 yards and three TDs, but Matthew Stafford also committed five turnovers — three of them for scores — and is having a hard time staying upright.

LOOKING AHEAD Peterson is back in London for the second time this year, as the Cardinals face a Rams defense that has been one of the NFL's worst against the run this season.

The "winners" have all been Turkeys, no matter the honor's name.

In this photo taken Monday, March 6, 2017, in San Francisco, released confidential files by The University of California of a sexual misconduct case, like this one against UC Santa Cruz Latin Studies professor Hector Perla is shown. Perla was accused of raping a student during a wine-tasting outing in June 2015. Some of the files are so heavily redacted that on many pages no words are visible.
