GAMEDAY HEROES

EZEKIEL ELLIOTT, RB, Cowboys The former Ohio State standout looks like a bona fide NFL star; his 134-yard, two-TD game gives him 412 rushing yards over the past three weeks.

VIC BEASLEY, LB, Falcons The No. 8 overall pick in last year's draft nearly matched his 2015 total with 3 ½ sacks at Denver. He had eight tackles in all, and two forced fumbles.

MARCUS MARIOTA, QB, Titans Only 163 passing yards, but completed 20 of 29 passes with three TDs and no picks and also ran for 60 yards and another TD.

GAMEDAY GOATS

RYAN MATHEWS, RB, Eagles With Philadelphia up two late, he fumbled on third-and-2 at midfield, Detroit recovered and made a winning field goal. "I just messed up," he said.

DREW KASER, P, Chargers His first punt went 16 yards, leading to an Oakland TD; then, as the holder, he couldn't handle a snap on San Diego's tying field-goal attempt.

CASE KEENUM, QB, Rams Two interceptions, including one returned for a score, and four sacks while Jared Goff continues to wear a baseball cap.

FANTASY RUSH

GOING UP Cam Meredith was having an incredible game for the Bears until his late, extremely costly fumble. But still, 12 targets, nine catches, 130 yards, one TD …

GOING DOWN So much for this being Markus Wheaton's year to break out. Four catches in three games, and Sammie Coates appears to have taken over as the Steelers' No. 2 WR.

LOOKING AHEAD The rejuvenated Falcons get a stiff test against the Seahawks, who are No. 3 in pass defense, at home and coming off a bye.
