CLEVELAND — The Twins will try for a franchise first today: They have never swept a four-game series in Cleveland. But if they accomplish it, they'll do it with a lineup that looks a lot different than the one that piled up 35 runs in the first three games.

Byron Buxton returns from a minor knee injury, and Robbie Grossman and Kennys Vargas will play today, too.

"It's fun to be part of a team that's scoring that many runs," Twins manager Paul Molitor said. "But the guys that are watching and not participating probably want to feel a part of it to some degree."

It wasn't easy to remove Eddie Rosario, Danny Santana and Jorge Polanco, Molitor said, particularly since that trio of players is a combined 17-for-39 (.436) during the first three games. "We tried to ride the combination that worked effectively," Molitor said, "but I thought it was time to get some [different] guys in there."

Hector Santiago will make his Twins debut today, and the team is excited to see what sort of pitcher they acquired in Monday's deadline deal that cost them Ricky Nolasco and Alex Meyer.

Here are the lineups for today's late-morning matinee, which is being televised by MLB Network:
