3

Career two-error games for St. Louis catcher Yadier Molina, including Friday's.

SUSPENDED

Joey Votto

1B, Cincinnati

Votto was suspended two games for his home plate tantrum Wednesday at Pittsburgh. He is appealing, saying he didn't deserve to be ejected, let alone suspended. Votto said he politely asked for timeout but was denied by umpire Bill Welke. Votto said he had never been refused a timeout in his nine-year big-league career.
