COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri wide receiver Jimmie Hunt will undergo surgery for a left shoulder injury and miss the Citrus Bowl.
The senior had been day to day before consulting with team doctors, who determined the injury was too painful for him to play in the Jan. 1 game against Minnesota in Orlando, Florida.
In 12 games this season, Hunt had 40 catches for 698 yards and seven touchdowns.
