A tree fell on an 80-year-old Minnesota woman and killed her as she was cutting firewood, authorities said.
Florance Soland, who lived about 30 miles south of Detroit Lakes, died at the scene, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office.
Soland was helping family members with the chore when the tree fell on her, the Sheriff's Office said.
