The Vikings stacked back-to-back wins for the first time this season, beating the Cowboys 34-26 on “Sunday Night Football” a week after shutting out the Commanders 31-0. J.J. McCarthy once again looked poised under center, going 15-of-24 for 250 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. He also ran for a touchdown, doing the Griddy as he crossed the goal line. The loss damaged the playoff chances of the Cowboys, who fell to 6-7-1. The Vikings (6-8) were officially eliminated from playoff contention with the Bears’ 31-3 win over the Browns earlier Sunday.
