A July 4 home match against Major League Soccer champions Toronto FC highlights Minnesota United's 2018 regular season schedule.

The team's 34-game schedule was released Thursday by Major League Soccer.

The Loons, playing their home games for one more season at TCF Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota, will play host to expansion side LAFC on July 22.

The Loons open the season with back-to-back road matches against San Jose on March 3 and Orlando City on March 10 before returning for their home opener on March 17 against the Chicago Fire.

The team's last home game — Fan Appreciation match on Oct. 21 against LA Galaxy — is the only currently scheduled match with all seating at TCF Bank Stadium opened up for fans. The team typically closes off seating in the upper bowl of the stadium.

The Loons will play three preseason games next month in Charleston, S.C., starting with Charleston Battery on Feb. 17, Atlanta United on Feb. 22 and Columbus Crew on Feb. 25.

For the 2019 season, Minnesota United will play its home games at Allianz Field, its under-construction, 20,000-seat venue in St. Paul.
