Three Minnesota athletes were nominated for the 2015 NCAA Woman of the Year award, given to a graduating athlete for excellence in academics, athletics, community service and leadership.

Each conference in each of the three divisions makes a nomination.

St. Thomas volleyball player Kelly Foley was nominated by the MIAC, St. Scholastica volleyball player Olivia Krejcarek was nominated by the UMAC and Minnesota swimmer Jessica Plant was nominated by the Big Ten.

The NCAA selection committee will select its top 30 with 10 from each division, whittle that down to three from each division and award its winner on Oct. 18 from the finalist from each division.
