The Gophers women's volleyball team beat No. 18 North Carolina 25-23, 25-22, 25-16 on Saturday at Louisville's KYC Yum! Center as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Dalianliz Rosado had a career-high 27 digs to lead Minnesota (2-2). Daly Santana had 13 kills, Alyssa Goehner and Hannah Tapp had 10 apiece.

Santana was coming off a monster match. The senior from Puerto Rico had 39 kills on Friday night in a five-set win over Louisville.

The Gophers outhit the Tar Heels .221 to .176 and had more digs 59-55.

Minnesota will open its home season with the Diet Coke Classic next Friday and Saturday at the Sports Pavilion.
