The Gophers soccer team played to a scoreless draw with No. 23 Kansas after an aggressive match resulted in two overtimes on Sunday at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium.

The Jayhawks outshot the Gophers 13-10 and had 12 corner kicks to the home team's 10, but Tarah Hobbs made eight saves for the Gophers (1-0-1).

"The longer the game went on, the more apparent it was that we are a good team and we created some good looks," coach Stefanie Golan said. "The only thing we didn't do today was put it into the back of the net."
