A partnership between cereal maker MOM Brands and Weight Watchers is going nationwide this month.
Lakeville-based MOM, maker of Malt-O-Meal branded cereals, is producing a cereal line under the Weight Watchers label, which was launched in limited markets in October.
Beginning this month, Weight Watchers cereals will be available nationwide. The new cereals come in five iterations, including oat clusters with almonds and frosted shredded wheat.
MOM Brands is licensed to manufacture and distribute the Weight Watchers brand.
Family-owned MOM Brands is one of the nation's two largest cereal makers -- along with Post – after behemoths General Mills and Kellogg. MOM is also private-label cereal producer.
