There was hot competition on the field at U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday night, but the Minnesota Vikings weren't playing.

It was the Monster Energy AMA Supercross circuit, treating Minnesota fans to its first visit to the state's new $1.1 billion athletic venue.

Minnesota native Ryan Dungey, in what may have been his last race here, finished third in the 450SX main event, behind winner Eli Tomac and Marvin Musquin.

In the lower 250SX main event, Joey Savatgy won, Jordon Smith finished second and Zach Osborne took third.
