The chief executive of the Fiesta Bowl, one of college football's premier bowl games, was fired Tuesday after the release of an investigative report commissioned by the nonprofit's board of directors. The New York Times has the story here. The first paragraph drops a number of bombshells:

The investigation was led by Minneapolis attorney Christopher Madel, a partner at Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi. His report has been made public on the Fiesta Bowl's website. It can be found here.

The Fiesta Bowl is one of four B.C.S. bowl games.
