Minnesota high schoolers are voting, and they’re choosing Donald Trump.
Trump clinched a narrow win over Hillary Clinton in the first round of results in the inaugural statewide mock election for high school students, run by Secretary of State Steve Simon’s office.
About 77,000 students from 213 high schools filled out ballots for president.
Trump won by about 2 percentage points, with nearly 35 percent of the vote, compared to Clinton’s nearly 33 percent.
More high schools are holding their mock elections in the coming days, so results will be updated, the Secretary of State’s office said in a release Tuesday.
Detailed results are available on the Secretary of State’s website here.
