Quick blog as I host the 9-12 show on KFAN.

I had Wild GM Chuck Fletcher on during the first hour.

He said the Wild is "very close" to re-signing center Mikael Granlund and he confirmed what I reported this morning on Twitter that the Wild is trying to re-sign defenseman Nate Prosser, who showed last season he can play the left and right side.

The contract is not done yet, although it will be, I'm told. Likely a two-year deal.

Fletcher said guys like Kyle Brodziak and Chris Stewart are going to free agency, although he voiced a desire to re-sign Stewart if he circles back after potentially not hearing what he wants to hear in free agency.

I do think the Wild has interest in re-signing Ryan Carter. They have talked to Chris Porter, sources say.

Fletcher also talked a lot about Mike Reilly, Tyler Graovac, Kurtis Gabriel and Michael Keranen maybe making the team.
