Wet weather returned to Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia Monday night and
Tuesday will feature much of the same. Periods of rain will continue to stream
northward from the Carolinas throughout the day. Rainfall amounts will
generally be light, but a few areas from Philadelphia to Baltimore and on
eastward to the coast could pick up nearly a half-inch of rain. Regardless of
the exact amounts the day will remain overcast with occasional drizzle, even in
New York where not much rainfall is expected. Temperatures will not rise much
from their current readings.
Not only will Tuesday feature unpleasant weather, well most would consider
it unpleasant, but Wednesday's outlook is rather bleak as well. Thursday should
see conditions improve, however, with warming temperatures.
