MIAC roundup: Augsburg slips past Gustavus

Hakeem Bourne-McFarlane caught a 42-yard touchdown pass from Ayrton Scott as the clock expired to lift Augsburg to a 26-24 victory over Gustavus Adolphus in St. Peter on Saturday.

The touchdown capped a seven-play, 80-yard drive in 34 seconds.

Bourne-McFarlane also scored on an 82-yard kickoff return. Scott passed for 283 yards and three TDs and rushed for 163 yards.

Concordia (Moorhead) 28, St. Olaf 14: Brett Baune rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown to lead the Cobbers past the Oles in Northfield.

Carleton 21, Hamline 14: Conor Lynch threw two TD passes as the host Knights rallied for the victory in Northfield.

Bethel 56, Buena Vista 7: Erik Peterson rushed for two touchdowns and passed for two touchdowns to lead the host Royals, ranked No. 12, to a nonconference victory.
