Griffin Neal threw two touchdown passes to spark Concordia (Moorhead) to a 24-14 victory over St. John's in Collegeville, Minn., on Saturday.

Neal's first TD pass came on the third play of the game to give the Cobbers a 6-0 lead. His second TD pass — with 1:09 remaining in the first half — gave the Cobbers a 20-7 lead.

The Cobbers (4-0, 2-0 MIAC) extended their lead to 24-7 on a field goal in the third quarter.

The Johnnies (3-1, 1-1), ranked No. 23 in the d3football.com poll, scored with 2:22 left to pull within 10.

Augsburg 55, Hamline 20: Ayrton Scott passed for 214 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 161 yards on 26 carries as the Auggies (3-0, 2-0) remained unbeaten with a victory over the visiting Pipers. Augsburg took a 21-6 lead in the opening quarter.

Bethel 58, Carleton 14: The No. 5-ranked Royals scored 28 points in a 4½-minute span early in the second quarter to take control and went on to beat the Knights in Northfield.

Brandon Marquardt rushed for 181 yards and three TDs for Bethel (3-0, 1-0). Erik Peterson went 19-for-27 passing for 190 yards and one TD.

Gustavus Adolphus 45, St. Olaf 19: Mitch Hendricks passed for 301 yards and two TDs and Jeffrey Dubose rushed for three TDs to lead the Gusties in St. Peter.

The Oles led 13-7 after the first quarter, but the Gusties scored 38 unanswered points to take a 45-13 lead.
