Gophers receiver Andre McDonald was released from the hospital on Thursday evening, a team spokesman said. The freshman from Hopkins had been treated for an undisclosed condition earlier in the day.
McDonald, who has not played since the Gophers' opening game at UNLV, is listed as "questionable" on the team's injury report for Saturday night's game against Syracuse. He missed a week of practices earlier this month with a knee infection apparently related to playing in the game in Las Vegas.
