Actor Martin Sheen and the son of his who doesn't cause so much trouble are working their way around the Twin Cities this week promoting their soon-to-be-released movie.

Sheen and Emilio Estevez signed autographs and greeted fans Monday at the Walmart in Maple Grove as part of "The Way" national bus tour.

A sneak preview of the movie was then shown at the Maple Grove AMC.

The tour swings by Roseville on Tuesday for more of the same at AMC Rosedale 14. Sheen and Estevez will also hang around after the showing to answer questions from the public.

Sheen and Estevez know their way around the Twin Cities. Sheen has been a guest on Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion" radio show. Estevez starred in the Minnesota-based "Mighty Ducks" movie trilogy, which used Minneapolis-St. Paul for many scenes.

Estevez wrote and directed "The Way," which opens in a limited release Oct. 7 and nationwide two weeks later.

In the movie, Sheen plays an American doctor who comes to France to collect the remains of his son (Estevez), who was killed in a storm in the Pyrenees mountains.

As for the other son, Charlie Sheen, he sat through a two-hour roast in Los Angeles over the weekend. His reaction?

"Drugs couldn't kill me. Sex couldn't kill me. The press couldn't kill me. 'Two and a Half Men' couldn't kill me. Did you really think your little jokes were going to hurt me?"
