Martha's iPad foray
Martha Stewart Living celebrated its 20-year anniversary with a special digital issue of the magazine made for iPad.
"Boundless Beauty" costs $3.99 from the iTunes' App Store (www.itunes.com/appstore). The special issue takes advantage of the touch-of-a-finger interactivity.
Users can toggle though panoramic views of Stewart's peony garden and farm. There are numerous how-to stories on cooking, decorating, applying makeup, flower arranging and entertaining. Scrolling recipes, photo slide shows, videos, audio interviews, animation and pop-up information set it apart from the print edition.
In February, Martha Stewart Living will launch a regular iPad version of its magazine.

Some are purely inspirational and sometimes whimsical, such as a light switch cover made from a log and chair covers adorned with plant materials. She includes instructions for re-creating the projects.
The book includes recipes for edibles from nature, such as mushrooms, ramps and even Japanese knotweed.
