Forget the Titans Being the best 0-3 team in the NFL probably isn't good enough to get Tennessee back into the playoffs this season. Since 1990, when the NFL switched to its current playoff format, only three out of 43 teams to start 0-3 went on to make the playoffs. The last team to do it was the 1998 Bills. Only one 0-3 team (the 1992 Chargers) won a playoff game. None reached the conference title games. There are seven 0-3 teams. None was more surprising than Tennessee, which was 13-3 and the No. 1 seed in the AFC a year ago. "Good teams find a way to win. Bad teams find a way to lose," Titans safety Chris Hope told reporters after Sunday's 24-17 loss at the Jets. "We've got to figure out which one we are."

A pair of NFL firsts for Eagles A couple of things happened in Philadelphia's 34-14 victory over Kansas City that had never happened before in NFL history. With 327 yards passing, Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb became the first player in NFL history to throw for 300 yards in each of his first two starts. Meanwhile, Eagles receiver/returner DeSean Jackson had a 64-yard touchdown reception, making him the first player in NFL history with a touchdown of 60 yards or longer in each of his team's first three games.

Upset special, baby Did we not tell you the Lions would beat the Redskins on Sunday? Detroit isn't even close to being the worst team in the league this year. Of the winless teams going into Week 4, which team has the best chance of matching the 2008 Lions as the only 0-16 teams in NFL history? Answer: The Browns. Cleveland has one offensive touchdown in its past nine games and plays in the rugged AFC North. A stumbling block en route to 0-16: The Raiders at home two days after Christmas.

And the longest losing streak now belongs to ... St. Louis. Now that the Lions stopped their streak at 19, the Rams take over the bottom spot with 13 consecutive losses. St. Louis might not be favored in another game the rest of the year, but at least it plays in the weak NFC West. If the Rams lose their next four games, they would take a 17-game losing streak into Detroit Nov. 1.
