Three observations ... • Funny how Randy Moss has suddenly become media-friendly now that he needs a contract extension. His back-and-forth with Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis this week has set up the matchup of the week in the NFL. Revis, who shut down Moss in two meetings last year, had called Moss a "slouch." Said Moss: "We're coming to the Meadowlands on Sunday, man, so you got 60 minutes of this 'slouch.'"

• After backing up Peyton Manning the past six years, Jim Sorgi now is a teammate of Eli Manning. The second Manning Bowl will be played Sunday night, so Sorgi (on injured reserve) was asked what kind of defenses give Peyton problems. "Not many," Sorgi said.

• Houston, which plays at Washington, is 9-3 against NFC teams the past three years. Andre Johnson has averaged 91.8 yards receiving in those 12 games.

Two predictions ... • Either Moss will catch a TD pass longer than 50 yards or Revis will be called for a pass interference penalty that's longer than 50 yards.

• Coming off a breakthrough victory against the Colts, the Texans will lose at Washington.
