Who's No. 1?

Staff writer Marcus Fuller picks his No. 1 seeds:

Kansas: Big 12 champions for the 13th straight year should be the No. 1 overall seed despite losing to TCU to open the conference tourney. Freshman sensation Josh Jackson will be back after a one-game suspension.

Villanova: Could possibly steal the top overall seed from KU after blowing out Creighton in the Big East final Saturday. 'Nova won both the regular-season and conference tournament titles in a loaded league.

Gonzaga: One of five teams to be ranked No. 1 in the country this season, but the Zags were the last undefeated team at 29-0 before falling to BYU. They have enough talent to make their first Final Four.

North Carolina: Will have the most losses of the No. 1 seeds at 27-7 and didn't reach the ACC tournament title game. But the Tar Heels deserve credit for winning the regular season title outright in a league that could get 10 NCAA bids.
