Mapping the emerald ash borer

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service has teamed up with students from Inver Hills Community College to survey emerald ash borer populations along the Minnesota River. Data-gathering is crucial at this time of year because ash borers are beginning to hatch, which indicates how large their numbers will be and where they're likely to spread.
