Mountain snow will disrupt travel along some Southwestern thoroughfares between today and Monday evening as one storm departs and another approaches. The highest snowfall of about one foot will blanket the crest of the Sierra Nevada, the Arizona rim country and some of the mountains of southern Utah to western Colorado.

Lower amounts will accumulate in the aforesaid states along with parts of Nevada, Wyoming and New Mexico. Major highways most affected by this snowfall will include I-15, I-40, I-70 and I-80.
