ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. - The Hennepin County medical examiner says the man who died in a house fire in St. Louis Park was Thomas C. Holden.
The medical examiner said in a statement Saturday the 56-year-old Holden died from smoke inhalation. The manner of death is still under investigation.
Fire officials say they received a call around 1 p.m. Friday and arrived to find the rear of the house engulfed in flames.
Holden was found dead in a first-floor bedroom.
St. Louis Park fire officials say there is nothing suspicious about the fire. They also say the house did not appear to have working smoke detectors.
