Another day, another designer ends up at Kohl's.
Beginning Friday in stores, Catherine Malandrino becomes the latest high-end designer to collaborate with Kohl's on a limited-edition collection. Previous design partners include Narciso Rodriguez and Derek Lam.
Malandrino's collection includes flirty knit skirts, plenty of tops, a few dresses and enough pleather and lace to be fashionable without being embarrassing. Look for the word "Paris" or images of the Eiffel Tower on some of her offerings, including a black dress with a mesh back.
Prices start at $36 for an oversized Paris-theme T-shirt and top out at $130 for a patent leather trench.
Highlights include:
• Jacquard pullover sweater in black and white, $68; black and white sweater skirt, $50.
• Quilted motorcycle jacket, $120 (shown at left); elastic band pleated skirt, $54.
